ABOUT LINDA

Born in 1963, Linda Ravenscroft is a self taught artist
who has been painting since she was very young. Until recently,
she lived with her husband, John, and beast companions,
in the beautiful county of Cheshire, England.
Since then, she has had the opportunity to follow ane of her dreams, moving to the magical
town of Glastonbury, "The Isle of Avalon", in Somerset. Where she and her husband John have just finished renovating an sometime Georgian banking company, to create a magical home and Linda'due south official gallery and studio space, "The mystic garden gallery & Studio"

Linda became a professional person artist in 1994 after the nascency of her
son, Dorian, who was very ill later on the birth. Linda was unable to go back to
her part job as she had planned; the just other thing she thought she could
practise to earn a living whilst taking care of Dorian was "Paint".

Since and then, her work has been widely published and her piece of work  and has featured in many Fantasy/Fairy Art books, such as "The Fine art of Faerie"
"The World of Faerie" and  "Watercolour Fairies".
She has also illustrated and written several Tutorial Faerie Fine art books,
including the all-time selling "How to Describe and Paint Fairies" and "How to Draw and Paint Fairyland",
and her own "Enchanted Faerie and Fantasy Art of Linda Ravenscroft"
and "The Fairy Artists Figure Cartoon Bible",
too as her all-time selling "Woodland Faeries Calendars" and "The Msytic Faerie Tarot Deck" by Llewellyn Publishing.

Together with TV appearances promoting her beautiful Card crafting C.D. ROMs,
condom stamps, and other arts and crafts materials on the Ideal World Create and Craft
shopping channel here in the United kingdom.

She has besides created a series of colouring books, of which she has produced four with plans for more!

Linda's piece of work is collected worldwide, in the Us and Europe in item.

Opening a Gallery in Glastonbury is a dream which Linda and husband John take shared
for quite a while - an opportunity for Linda to have a place where she tin work,
show her art and have a classroom for students.  In 2015 they purchased the old Natwest Banking company in Glastonbury and created
"The Mystic Garden Gallery" the gallery was named subsequently one of her kickoff ever published art pieces.
