Print a Continuing Care Report in Dentrix

Continuing Care list view options

Once the Continuing Care List loads, all pre-defined views are listed at the bottom of the Views menu.

Note: From the Views menu you can also create a temporary view. Use this option to set up a view that you will only use once (such as finding all the patients on a Continuing Care type that you want to delete).

To create a Continuing Care View

1 .   In the Views menu in the Continuing Care window, click Continuing Care Views Setup.

The Continuing Care Views Setup dialog box appears, showing all permanent views that have been previously created. As part of the initial installation, Dentrix adds the following views:

· All - Displays all patients assigned to a Continuing Care type.

· Next 3 Months - Displays all patients due for a Continuing Care visit in the next 3 months.

· Next 6 Months - Displays all patients due for a Continuing Care visit in the next 6 months.

· Next Month - Displays all patients due for a Continuing Care visit in the next month.

· Week - Displays all patients due for a Continuing Care visit within the next week.

· Overdue - Displays all patients who are past due for their Continuing Care visit.

· Today - Displays all patients due for a Continuing Care visit on the current date.

2 . Click New.

The New Continuing Care View dialog box appears.

· Only WITHOUT - To view only patients without an attached appointment.

· Sort Order - Select an the option and use the Page Up and Page Down keys to move the option up or down in priority and customize the order in which Dentrix lists each patient on both the display and the printed list. Sorting by family allows you to look at the entire family regardless of whether family members all have the same last name. Sorting alphabetically by patient name sorts by name regardless of family relationship.

4. Under Due Date, select one of the following:

· Use Due Date Range - Type the desired date range.

· Use Due Date Span - Select the amount of time that you want to appear on the report from the Before and After lists. For example, to view one month, select 1 day Before and 1 month After.

5. As appropriate, set one or more of the following filters:

· Billing Type range. Click the From and To search buttons and select a beginning and an ending billing type from the respective lists to filter the list according to billing type.

· Prior Treatment Date Span. Set the span to include the amount of time that you want to appear on the report. For example, to view one month, selecting 1 day From and 1 month To filters the list according to prior treatment date

· Last Visit Date Span. Set the span to include the amount of time that you want to appear on the report. For example, to view one month, selecting 1 day From and 1 month To filters the list according to last visit date

· Provider range. Click the From and To search buttons respectively to select the beginning and ending providers for the range to filter the list according to provider
